Greg began singing around the age of 4 years. His parents have said that Greg's first claim to fame was standing on stage (which was actually a flat bed trailer) with the Blackwood Brothers.
He grew up singing in a small country church atmosphere (Pleasant Grove Church of God in Grayson, LA) where gospel music was a major part of each service. While attending Pleasant Grove, Greg sang with the youth choir wherein his mom was the choir director and the preacher's wife, Sister Elaine Duchane, was the piano player. When he was around the age of 14, the youth choir attended the Church of God State Competition in Baton Rouge, LA, and won a trophy.
Greg comes from a singing background and has two brothers, Steve and Wesley, and one sister, Denise, with whom he grew up singing in church.
He married the former Tonya Rodrique and they have two daughters, Bridget and Courtney. They moved to Alabama about 20 years or so ago and attended Cornerstone Church (formerly known as Central Free Will Baptist Church) in Helena, AL. While attending Cornerstone, Greg and Tonya became good friends with Neal and Loretta Champion and began hanging out with them going to singings.
When Chosen Witness was formed, Greg became the sound engineer for several years and around 1999 or 2000, he became the bass singer for Chosen Witness and the rest is history.
Greg and wife, Tonya, live in Helena, Alabama. Greg sings bass for the group but also brings a sense of "cajun humor" to the group, which brings a smile to all who hear him. Being from Louisiana, he has lots of stories to tell about his cousin Boudreaux!
